Don Julio Real is an extra anejo tequila, aged between three to five years in American white oak barrels. It holds the distinction of being one of the first Extra Anejo tequilas introduced to the market. The initial release, known as the Don Julio Real First Release, was produced under NOM 1118. This is a highly sought after by collectors, especially those presented in display cases and signed by Don Julio Junior.
