Product Description
This wine is produced from the four best varieties of the local red grapes – Areni, Haghtanak, Milagh and Karmrahyut. It follows the ancient Armenian Kakhani methodology using three-month’s withered grapes. After the fermentation process, the wine is aged for 6 months in new barrels made of a century-old Armenian oak-trees followed by another 18 months of aging in older barrels. The wine has an intensive purple color, harmonious aroma of distinguished shades of withered grapes and candied fruits, pleasant acidity of the aged oak-tree and leather, blackberry jam and prunes flavors pleasantly complemented with a vanilla-chocolate flavor.
