Product Description
The multidimensional bouquet of this wine is dominated by shades of currants. It is produced from the indigenous Armenian Areni variety cultivated in the terroirs of Vayots Dzor region. The berry shades are distinguishable due to the grapes withered for 2 to 3 months, hanging in the barns of the vineyard. The wine features bright colors and an opulent bouquet that is the result of cold maceration of the half grape crop. After production and the secondary fermentation phase, it is aged for 6 months in new barrels made of one-century-old Armenian oak trees.
This wine has a sparkling pomegranate color with scarlet flashes. It has an intensive aroma with dominating shades of red (cheery) and black (black current and blueberry) berries. The bouquet exposes flavors of sweet spices, hazelnut and peppermint.
