The replacement premium blend for Johnnie Walker's popular Gold Label 18. It's structured around single malt whisky from Clynelish.
Nose: Honey and heather with thick caramel notes and a subtle nutmeg spice. Dried meadow flowers and a hint of fresh banana.
Palate: Smooth and succulent with a honeyed sweetness that's typical of Johnnie Walker. There's more to this though, the floral elements are quite prominent and there's a spiced sweet vanilla note too.
Finish: Long, sweet and toffee-like.
Overall: A typically easy drinking blend from Johnnie Walker, this will not disappoint fans of the style.

I've tried several types of Scotch and haven't found any that I liked. Most were actually hideous to me and left me wondering what the big deal is about Scotch. Well, this one changed that. It is so smooth and yet full of wonderful flavors of honey and fruits with a warm smokey finish. I'm no snob by any means, so that is about as specific as I'm willing to get. In short it is worth the cost, and to me is the best booze I've had neat.
