Freshly melted chocolate and Black Forest cake on the nose open into the bright red fruits of Merlot and black current with hints of sage and plum. The structured mouthfeel of Cabernet Sauvignon hangs on through the finish,with smooth, well-integrated tannins, accented with a white pepper finish courtesy of the Petit Verdot.

2013 was an exceptional year for Napa Valley. The growing season for Cabernet Sauvignon in the North Coast was rated 98 points (extraordinary) by the Wine Advocate- the highest rating for the area in 50 years!
