The Macallan Exceptional Casks range takes its name from a number of single cask bottlings Macallan released during the 1990s, which are often described as some of "the greatest Macallan of them all."
Distilled on the 7th October 2004 and bottled over 15 years later after maturing in single European oak sherry butt.
Nose: Sweet raisin & almond pastry with chocolate orange, oak spice & vanilla.
Taste: Rich mouthcoating almond pastry with chocolate, vanilla, raisin & ginger.
Finish: Medium, sweet & rich with ginger & oak spice.
