Tongue-twisters aside, this is a terrific six year old rye whiskey created by the late Dave Pickerell to be the best rye to use in cocktails. We'd say he did a phenomenal job. Made with 100% rye, and bottled up at 48.3% ABV, this boasts all the hallmarks of excellent rye whiskey, and we're sure your Manhattans, Old Fashioneds, Vieux Carrés, and more will appreciate it.
Nose: Tangy orange and lemon, balanced by robust pepper warmth and a touch of caraway.
Palate: Slightly chocolatey, but still big on the ripe fruit and toasty spices.
Finish: Cinnamon, new leather, buttery toffee.
